2025 Christmas Carol of Nine Lessons

The 2025 Christmas Carol of Nine Lessons at our school was a spiritually enriching and memorable celebration that brought together students, staff, parents, and members of the community to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. Held on December 5, 2025, the event featured a beautiful combination of scripture readings, carol renditions, and dramatic presentations that vividly told the story of the birth of Jesus Christ.

The programme opened with a welcome address by the School Principal, Rev. Catherine Oparaji, who highlighted Christmas as a season of gratitude, love, and generosity. The traditional Nine Lessons followed, with students, staff, and invited guests reading biblical passages that traced God’s redemptive plan—from creation and prophecy to the birth of Christ.

Each lesson was accompanied by melodious carols performed by the school choir, staff, and parents. Songs such as “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” “God Promises to Abraham,” and “Joy to the World” filled the hall with joy, supported by a live orchestra of talented student musicians.

A major highlight of the event was the Nativity drama presented by the Choreography Club, whose captivating performance brought the Christmas story to life. The programme also featured impressive solo performances by students and a special presentation by the teachers’ choir, which was warmly received by the audience.

Beyond the performances, the event reflected a strong sense of community and togetherness. Parents expressed pride in their children’s participation, and the occasion also served as an avenue for charitable giving in support of those in need.

The celebration concluded with a closing prayer and the joyful singing of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” The 2025 Christmas Carol of Nine Lessons was a remarkable success, reinforcing the school’s commitment to spiritual growth, moral values, and community bonding.
